Greetings!

My name’s Marina Horte, I’m a children’s author and illustrator. I live in the Altai region in the West Siberia, Russia, with my three children and a dog.

I started writing children’s books at the ripe age of 31, and I took on painting at 41. A few more years down the line, I’m now an illustrator! It just shows you that our age is an asset, not a hindrance, especially when it comes to things you’re passionate about.
